What transaction history should be preserved for the future? -Part 1

Service

Blockchain technology is said to activate transactions between individuals.

NFT marketplaces using blockchain technology allow the transfer of crypto assets and NFTs between individuals, using operations as simple as sending and receiving emails.

NFT transactions are automatically executed by tamper-resistant programs (Smart contracts) built on blockchains such as Ethereum. The history of NFT transactions is also recorded in an equally tamper-resistant manner and made publicly available to the entire world.

What are the characteristics of transactions that lend themselves to the easy exchange of value between individuals and to the history of such transactions being made public for all time?
Before we get into that, I would like to think with you about the future of society and life.

Advances in medical technology and improved sanitation have brought us to the “Age of 100”.

For many people, both ancient and modern, East and West, the question has been “how to live in a short life”. For example, Oda Nobunaga (1534-1582), the then ruler of Japan who enjoyed the dance “Atsumori” (Kowakamai) and the short poem “Shinobi-gusa” from his youth, was always aware of the brevity of life.

Today, our question is becoming a weighty one of another dimension of “how to live in a long life”.
How should we plan and live a life that is twice as long as the then ruler and more than three times the average life-span of companies?

Based on my experience, I can confidently tell you that we all need a good advisor in life.
And I believe that we all have a great desire to “develop ourselves” and a solemn duty to “guide the next generation”.

Our “Tou Chakai” is an NFT marketplace where advisors can convert the content and value of advice and other conditions into NFTs and release them, and advisees who have selected NFTs from advisors can receive advice directly online.

In other words, Tou Chakai is a serious marketplace, where personal desires and duty meet.
And I believe that the history of such serious transactions is a glorious historical record that deserves to be made public.

On the other hand, individual dates and times of the online meetings and conversations are information that only the parties to the transaction should know.
In the next article, I would like to discuss how Tou Chakai ensures the privacy of the parties to the transaction in a NFT marketplace, which is designed to make transaction histories public.
